  • How to Finish Your PhD on Time (Autumn, Year 3)
  • Careers: What Next? (Autumn, Year 3)

These are likely to be offered virtually in 2020/21

Courses Open to Staff and Postgraduate researchers include:
  • Virtual training in: Health & Safety (specific to the project work), GDPR, Information Security and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Effective Scientific Writing
  • Communicating Your Science with Confidence
  • Project Management
  • Presentation Skills
Other Opportunities

Annual Postgraduate Seminar Days are held at each of the four UKCEH sites

Postgraduate researchers are invited to an annual ‘PhD MOT’ – an opportunity to reflect on what’s going well, what the challenges are for the next 3-6 months and how to overcome these.
